He’s getting a lot of hate over on IMDB. :(
Urgh. I don’t care - there were some people who thought he was fine. There also seems to be this criticism of Emilia Clarke which I don’t get either. This is what I think of his accent:
I wasn’t keen on his accent in season 1. It seemed really, I dunno, posh? Season 2, again, I don’t think I really liked. But then it started to get huskier and more Irish (an Irish person may disagree with me!) and last night’s episode I thought was his best version yet, all dirty, husky and Irish. But, here’s the thing: - surely the makers of the show told him how to speak, they wouldn’t just let an actor in a key role in such an important show as Game of Thrones just start speaking randomly how he wanted without their approval, surely? Aidan is perfectly capable of doing an accent (him in The Wire was excellent as was his Chicago accent in Glengarry Glen Ross). There has to be a reason for the change and I wanna know what it is!
It has nothing to do with your vegan diet or your “ancient Chinese oils” (actual reasoning I was given).
It’s because everyone around you is less of a fucking idiot that you are and cares about their health.
Wouldn’t the parents of…
As someone who cannot be vaccinated (long story, but I am in the 0.001% of people who have HORRIFIC reactions to vaccines), I approve this message. I understand perfectly that my ass was saved by the other 99.999% who were able to get vaccines.
Now those idiots aren’t vaccinating their kids and soon we’ll all be fucked.
HOWEVER. My mother was judged as one of those “idiots” before she could explain the situation. So before you start judging why a parent decides not to vaccinate, please hear the WHOLE story.
If there is a legit reason, let it pass.
If it’s some pseudo-science bullshit, throw medical textbooks at them until they see sense, or are knocked out long enough for you to ninja-vaccinate.
